A brand update with a more robust approach to brand guidelines for internal and external clarity and consistency.
Patreon is a subscription platform that helps creators and artists earn a consistent living by providing rewards and perks to their subscribers. I joined Patreon as their first in-house brand designer after a rebrand to reflect Patreon’s growing community and shift to a subscription-based platform. In anticipation of ambitious initiaties (OOH campaign, creator conference, SXSW experience) and partnerships with external vendors, it became clear the existing brand guideline needed to be more comprehensive.
I worked with Anagraph Studio to enhance and extend Patreon’s brand guidelines. The result was the addition of brand strategy, art direction, voice and tone, and applications of the brand.
